At Your Funeral …

Have your thought about this ?

Did it ever occur to you what happen at your funeral ?

I did !

I have always felt (thought) that i will die young. As in YOUNG (not above 30 ~ 50 years old).

- which may explain why at times, I do things without thinking much. Just do it !

- which may explain why at times, I just dont give a damn ! Turn it on !

Why ? I don’t know.

It’s just this freaky feeling. I have always thought that I will not live to see the world for long.

It’s just a gut’s feeling …

Sometimes, I will have the thought / feeling *while driving* of driving through a crossroad (not speeding eh) and out of nowhere, a lorry rams into my vehicle from the side and that it ! That’s the end of me. Hikayat Ghostraider !

It’s just like in those movies where suddenly, from nowhere, the train comes rushing out from the corner of your eyes and before you know it, the loud whistling of the train continue with a loud bang ! What is left are the tiny bits scattered around to be collected and be send to the junkyart / mortuary.

Over the years, I have slowly and gradually (reluctantly) accepted that part of me even if I wish to deny.

And, the next thing that came acros my mind will be …

what will happen at my funeral ?

Who would be at my funeral ? YOU ?

Which one of you will give an eulogy about me ?  And how would it sounds like ?

Will it be a sad occasion ? Or it’s one of those moments where everyone remembers ?

Will it a happy occasion where it’s like the reunion of family and friends ?

hhhmmm… I wonder… I ponder …

Are you gonna attend my funeral ? And what will you do ? Will you be sad momentarily or forever ?

which one of you will actually cry ? Are those tears genuine ? or was it’s merely croc tears ?

Were they really crying for who I am or was it because of the ambience ? And how will I be remembered ?

Is it because for the lost of a loved or was it because of what one said ?

A blue rose …

that is what I will ask for.

Why blue rose ? Dont ask me !

No idea !  but I just found out what it meant :)

Maybe because it is unique …

Maybe because it is hard to get …

Maybe its because it is special and it shows the effort one takes to get it and appreciate me …

And there I will be, looking for the sky (cos I am in heaven ?) and watching all of you …

I hope I won’t get sad watching it …

I hope I won’t get mad watching it …

I hope I won’t regret watching it …

But, guess I will have to wait …….

- There are so many things I have yet to do !

- There are yet so many things that I have yet to experience !

- There are so many places that I have yet to see !

I Vote Earth !

Come on !

Let’s do our part.

Let’s do it for what we believe !

Let’s not do it because everyone is doing it !

Do it because you want to !

The world dont need another imposter. What we need are genuine people who are sincere in making this world a better place. Actions towards climate change !

What we dont need are people who do it for personal fame. We dont need to publicise what we will do, what we did. Just like the papers that like to interview / publish what people are doing but do you see any news about it before the event ? It is as if there are no other better news to publish.

Publish it ! Publicise it so that those unaware of it will know about it.

Publicise it  ! Publicise it so that more are aware and more will participate willingly.

It is just a small gesture for mother earth who have served us for millions of years and millions to come.

60 minutes.

60 minutes is all it takes.

During these 60 minutes, we can still enjoy. we can still celebrate.

It is a small step for what we have been damaging.

It may not show a huge significant change but it shows that we are trying.

Do it because you believe in it !

Do it because you want it !

Do it because you are proud of it !

Just do it.

8.30pm – 9.30pm on this day @ 27th March 2010

I got a feeling … that tonight’s gonna be a good night … that tonight’s gonna be a good night …. that tonight’s gonna be a good good night … I got a feeling …

It’s THAT feeling …

Had that feeling again ….

was having a drink alone by the bar in Laundry and suddenly, this feeling came all back to me.

I feel moody …

I feel lifeless …

I feel no sense of directions …

I feel bored with life …

I dont know what I am doing. I just feel that life is boring. There is no excitement in it. It’s always work, sleep, work sleep with the occasionally sports day or hanging out with friends doing the same old it. It’s like a routine ! it’s so boring !

It made me feel like there is nothing to look forward. I dont feel anything ! Is that good or bad ? I DONT KNOW ! All I know is that, here I am, sitting alone by the bar .. drinking and reflecting what I have done ! It’s basically work, work and work ! The thoughts itself was dull ! But what can I do ?

Then I started sms-ing everyone. Just to ease my boredom. Meantime, felt like useless. Nothing to do. Look for friends ? That’s where I realise that no one besides me. I am alone. The lone ranger. Dont feel like calling anyone. That’s as if there is someone else to call-la …

Things gone through my mind. What was I thinking ? What do I actually want in life ? I am actually contended with what I have for now.  You say car .. dah ada. You say place of stay … dah ada. in the process pula … then what else

Tapi, the lifestyle of always reviewing and rushing for deadlines just sux ! It’s as if nothing else better to do. So what can I do ?!

I am just tired with it. I just feeling like striking a lottery and away with the problem (for a moment). I just wanna get away for some time and relax. I just wanna do what I want to do … without thinking much !

In the end, I am still back in office as this hour, trying to rush for targets. Trying to get things done which I have targeted for the day / weekend which I couldnt possibly do during working hours. And yet, I dont feel I have the time for myself …

sigh … 我累了。。。

Happy 2010 ~ Tiger Woo … Hoo

Year 2010

It has been a long time since last posting. Don’t know why .. just dont have the urge or probably too tired to do it. Guess it’s because whenever wanted to blog, some things will just pop up. In the end, nothing done. Sigh … But still try to blog. Anyway, it doesnt make any difference. No one will know .. no one will read .. no one will understand even if some would say that they know who it is .. are you people sure ?

Anyway, ain’t gonna make a resolution this year. haha … cos couldnt even manage to get half of 2009 resolution done ! hehehe …. It’s true !

Anyway, year 2009 has seen a lot of happenings. It was really a bad luck year. Hopefully, year 2010 will not be the same anymore (fingers cr0ssed !)

Yasmin Ahmad (1958 – 2009)

An extraordinary lady of Malaysia. The video above says it all.

To be honest, I don’t really know who Yasmin Ahmad was until the news broke out about her being warded into hospital etc.

As I searched through the internet only did I realise that … gosh .. I have seen these advertisements and I have always enjoyed watching them. And I even mentioned to my friend before that the advertisements are really good. It is always touchy and meaningful. Muhibah. Colourless.

Even if one watches it a dozen times, it is still very meaninful and sometimes, it does make your eyes teary. It actually knock some senses into you.

She is really an amazing person. Though I don’t know her personally, but her works speak for all.

Kak Yasmin Ahmad, I salute you !!! God bless you and rest in peace. Alfatihah .

Thank you for your contributions to the nation through your meaningful work. And I hope that everyone can actually learn from your work.

Cow Head

This is just plain, utterly foolish ! Samseng !

No brainy. No offence to others but I think your brains are worse than the innocent cow.

Can  you imagine people who are supposingly to be matured for their age to act in this way ?! I know that sometimes maturity does not come with age but this ?!?! Am disgusted !

I do understand that the residents may be unhappy with the relocation of the Hindu temple as it may cause inconvenience and etc like traffic jams during festive season, but is making such protest necessary ??? Come on la … By comparison, how many mosque are there ? Did you see the Chinese or Hindus protesting about it ? Not to mention the cars that were parked all over the place especially prayers time and if you have a closer look, you will notice that not a single one is summoned. But no one made a fuss out of it ! Why ? Was it due to respect ? or was it because everyone knows that nothing will be done ? You determine it yourself…

This incident is making everyone silly and embarass in the eyes of the world ! It is making a mockery of the country ! How it once boast of being a multinational, multicultural country which is the envy of many other countries has now turns into a nightmare. Some foreigners are even afraid to Visit Malaysia because of the recent turmoils. Have heard of stories about some foreigners asking Malaysians abroad about the recent caning issue of the model. They were afraid that they too would be caned for drinking in public. And we are not talking about people whose religious prohibits them from taking alcoholic drinks.

I can’t remember how the conversation came about but I do remember during the youth exchange program, I was trying to explain the different cultures in Malaysia but yet when I mentioned “we Malays … we Chinese … we Indians ..”, I was stopped. “why is it that you keep saying we Malaysa … we Chinese … we Indians … ? Aren’t all of you Malaysians ?” The Aussie student girl has this annoyed face which made me speechless. This incident has been with me since then … and reminded me all this while. I never thought I will say this, but if a foreigner at the age 15-16 at that time can actually make such comment, so why can’t we Malaysians do that ??!!

Everyone knows what Muslims are prohibited from having non-halal food especially pork. The Hindus do not take beef as they considered them as sacred animals. The Chinese ? Basically nothing stops them ! Lol ! Yet, to say that “For Malays, a cow is synonymous with stupidity and not synonymous with religious matters. It is not as a serious offence as portrayed,” is NONSENSE ! To the person who said that, do you think everyone is stupid like you ?! The real reason or motivation, we all don’t know ! Don’t we ?

To say that the noises coming from the temple will disturb you and your prayers seem to be a lame excuse ! But, has one considered that the prayers coming from the loud speaker of a mosque ? I don’t think that anyone really made a complain or protest about it right ?

arriokk

On the right are some of our “heroes”. (courtesy from the Star Publication)

And can you imagine this ? The President of a Malay NGO are willing to provide legal cousels to our heroes and to take the case up as a “jihad” ? or any war undertaken in the name of Islam against unbelievers or backsliders.

errmmm … does that mean that we don’t have a choice of our own in choosing and embracing whatever religious we are comfortable in ? Of course with the exception for some.

But to declare Jihad ? It’s that a little too much ? If it is not as serious as one potrayed, then what is the fuss ? are you trying to inflict hatred amongst us ?

Careful ! Declaring Jihad may get you into trouble with one of the superpowers of the world. You may or may not be termed as a terrorist.

Or do we want a repeat of the nation’s black history …. 13th May … (though I was not born yet :p)

Thank god that not everyone is like ‘them’. It shows there are still people who can think sanely and with courtesy despite difference in skin colour and religious.

Ini pula what our Home Minister has to say ….

“Tindakan kebijaksanaan”

“Sayang Negara” wor …

“Waras” kononnye ….

“Not a big protest”

“Not to ignite racial anger” – yeah .. just like when kissing the keris

Sorry sir ! No offence to you but I do think that as a former Education Minister and now, the Home Minister, the choice of sentences used should be more carefully and intelligently said so as not to be interpreted wrongly … you know .. “when right becomes wrong” …

Nope ! I am not politically motivated. I am not even a registered voter cos of the ding dong that has been going on. And, Iam not a prejudice. I am not condemning the religious of  one but I just felt that it is not proper for one to disrespect another’s religious. I don’t recall any proper religious ever taught us to do that. To me, all religious are beautiful so long as it teaches good. So why can’t we just live peacefully and respect each other’s religious and get on with our lives ?!

I am not here to ignite racial anger or protest. I am thinking waras-ly.

I am proud to say that I am a Malaysian but I am ashamed be one with the turn of events in recent times.

One Malaysia, Satu Bangsa ! It seems …

Battleground Ipoh

What a joke !

It’s like a never ever ending drama taken out from a storyline.

Imagine, the average age of the so called people’s representative which is above 40 years old acting their second childhood going after one another just like during schooling time. Just to be in power.

One year after the General Election, they are still at it. Struggling to obtain power to be the rakyat’s representative which I do believe are getting fed up with nothing done. Even the authors of the updates on the battleground wrote it like a comic.

Once famed Taiwan parliamentary assemblies where opposition parties going after one another can now be seen in our own backyard. What happened to the democracy and the people’s outcry for better living etc ….

One may argue that without being able to control, the state government is unable to effectively work for the rakyat but isn’t this being too much …. ?

When will be gonna end ?

Let’s stay tune for more of the action pack drama … though seldom watch movies, but this seems to be an interesting comedy movie which should be a box office to the laughing world ….

EARTH HOUR 2009

EH_A2_Template_FINAL.indd

Some said that Earth Hour is a mere publicity stunt will all the celebrities, media and corporations coming up in support that fails at the very essence of sustaining a more environmental friendly lifestyle whilst others argued that it is to increase the awareness of climate change and to encourage leaders to agree and act on a solution before it is too late. Both are of different opinion but with a good intent.

Regardless of what it is said, let us put aside the differences and do something about it. There is no harm by switiching off the electricity for a mere one hour (8.30pm – 9.30pm tonight) yeah .. kinda late Moreover, think of the electricity bill we can be saving :) lolz ..

We, mankind, the tenant of Earth has been celebrating the developments and the success of mankind which one day, it will finally brings to our downfall / destruction. What is the used of matured thinking when our heart and soul are still young and naive when it comes to this matter ?!

The ozone layer is thinning.
The forest is reducing. Without it, is like slave.
The air is being polluted. Without it, is like without life.
The sea will soon be exhausted / over flooded. Without it, is like vanished.

Our unlucky earth is suffering from the corruption, oppression and obsession of mankind as it gradually vanished. Who will see it ? Who will realise it amongst us ? Will it be too late ?

It will be a time when all we can show to the generations to come are merely nostalgic photos where we once had our childhood playground.

So let us put our hands together in support of the Earth Hour as an initial step and subsequently think of what we can do more to sustain a more environmentally lifestyle !

Politics my ar*e !

It has been a year since the March 8 2008 (a prosperous date ?) general election. The BN coalition led government has once again formed a federal government like they have been for the last 51 years even though they were unable to win two third of the rakyat’s vote. Doesn’t it meant anything ? The rakyat want changes !

Trailing closely behind was PR which consist of the coalition of oppositions with different agendas just like BN. Both without a concrete and unite solution to the benefits of the rakyat. Even though they benefit from the voting made by the rakyat.

The year has seen changes in leadership of the BN components whilst PR has a new leader. A couple of by a few by-elections. Practically everyday, some crap political issues or political motivated agendas can be seen / heard making the headlines on the local news. Aren’t you people tired of it ? It seems like there is nothing more important than the on-going slaughter and accusations made by both parties. Total drama or what ?!

Longer than the soap opera ! Guess the likes of Knots Landing, The Beauty and the Bold (or was it the other way ?) and other operas were nothing compared to the sometimes heartening, at times tragic, occasionally entertaining, but mostly tiresome and boring episodes of the never ending stories.

Let’s see …

1. The detaining of RPK under the ISA for voicing his thoughts through his blog;
2. The leader of PR being charged with sodomy for the second time while attempting to form a government on September 16 2008 which failed and did not materialised;
3. Altantuya’s murder case;
4. The leading party of the BN coalition having an internal political crisis and having a pre-arranged handover leadership;
5. Crossovers, money politics;
6. The controversial change of government in Perak and the subsequent developments;
7. The summons, the court orders, the legal suits;
8. Protest, protest and more protest !
9. And much more ……..

If you don’t like, just make a police report then !. As if our country which is already shortage of decent honest law enforcement personnel has nothing better to do than to investigate all the nonsense while the crime rate is shooting up the roof by the day.

Still not satisfied ? Report to MACC. Otherwise, just gather a group of people and do a protest. Make a memorandum !

The situation has been a laughing stock in the eyes of the world ! A country which once boasts to be a harmony, multinational and multicultural country has now been divided because of some nonsense political uncertainty. Am sure many of us have been asked by our friends from overseas on what is going on. Can you actually give a sound reply ? Would you be able to give a concrete explaination without making a fool out of yourself ?

While the world is facing credit crunch and global economy is on the downturn, politics should be the least most important agenda in everyone’s mind. Yet, these jokers are having a go at each other, competing to deliver their promise of change instead of forming policies to help the rakyat !

They should be guilty as charged in contributing to the instability of investment and economic growth of the country. Economics 101 would have taught us that political stability plays a factor in the confidence of the investors for the growth of the country but it seems like we are moving backwards to Stone Age instead of 21st century.

Honestly speaking, can you remember when was the last time since the general election that your elected representative made some major changes / improvement / contribution which matter the most to your area ?

It’s all crap ! Bullsh*t ! Am sure that many of us have different views, thoughts and political parties that we support. The main reason being so was that we believe that our elected representatives / parties would contribute better than the other ! Yet, we are still able to sit together at a mamak stall to chat and mind our business as usual. So why can’t these elected representatives do the same ? Why can’t they put aside their differences and work together to provide a more meaningful gift to the citizens just like our forefathers when seeking for independence ?

What do they want from us ?! Are they too hunger with power ? Greed ? Selfishess ?

What actually does the rakyat benefited from all these crap ? For the past one year, nothing much has changed except for political turmoil. It’s about time we stood up and ask our representatives to stop all the nonsense and concentrate on doing what they were elected for ! We want improvements ! We want better living ! We want better welfare ! Not some unnecessary burden / at the expense of the well being of the taxpayers just to fund your silly campaigns when it can be channeled for better usage !

It is no surprise why our country is shortage of expertise. Why many have opted not to return to the motherland and instead settling in abroad despite the calls for them to return to help develop the country. Could you blame them for doing so ? Do believe that many amongst us would do the same if we had the opportunity to do so. Have we not learned anything from the past 51 years of independence ? Can we not shrugged off the “’First class infrastructure, third world mentality” ?

Come on ! Let’s not get narrow minded and being too self centered ! Let us learn for the past just like what we were taught during history classes. Whilst each other country is seemingly looking at plans to withstands the onslaught on the economy, the uncertainty of the political scenarios are causing a dysfunctional federal / state government in deciding important basic issues which are affecting the man in the street who are worried whether enough food can be put on the table.

It is time to wake up ! Time for truce ! Set aside the differences and work together in making a better nation !

The above views are merely personal two cents opinion and do not support any specific political party in any ways. In fact, with the circus in town, it is not worthwhile to be a registered voter because it won’t change anything in the current situation.
